Florida International University and Care Access Health Plan, Inc. renewed their Agreement in 2009 which allows Care Access Health Plan to offer its “special premium rates” to all FIU temporary employees, contracted workers and their dependents.
Care Access Health Plan, Inc. has been offering its affordable health care coverage to South Florida residents since 2003. Care Access is a Florida licensed and accredited Health Plan which provides comprehensive preventive care benefits covering the full range of preventive and routine health care coverage, all outside the hospital. The special rates for FIU temporary employees, contracted workers and their dependents are exclusive to FIU and not available through Brokers or sales Agents. Care Access Health Plan coverage includes benefits outside the hospital for all Primary and Specialty Physician care, Urgent Care, prescription medication, outpatient ambulatory surgery, a behavioral health benefit, hearing and vision services, all forms of diagnostic treatment, and other preventive health care services. Care Access has a large network of credentialed providers and physicians in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
A Defined Limited Benefit Hospital Plan is available in conjunction with Care Access through ACE American Insurance Company. The Limited Benefit Hospital Plan is at an additional affordable premium, paid in conjunction with your Care Access premium.
Premium payment: Care Access accepts Credit Card payments, including Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. If chosen Care Access also accepts automatic bank account withdrawal. Please have your bank account number and bank routing information available.
