Care Access Health Plan is the first licensed defined benefit health plan to offer comprehensive preventive care coverage in South Florida for health care services outside the hospital.** Formed in 2003 by South Florida experienced health care professionals as an affordable health plan alternative, Care Access offers comprehensive preventive health care coverage to Groups, Individuals, Dependents and Students. Care Access has over 1500 hundreds provider officers of credentialed, private-practice physicians and ancillary providers throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
Care Access’ affordable coverage offers individual premiums starting as low as $59.00 per month. Through Care Access a Member obtains all vital primary and specialty care, preventive and urgent care, diagnostic and ambulatory surgical services, pre and post-natal care as well as other coverage, including Prescription Drugs, outside of the hospital**
As we all know, there has been a growing crisis over the past several years regarding the over 49 million Americans who are without health care coverage; of which 26 million are working. Care Access offers its comprehensive preventive health care coverage as one solution to the crisis of higher health care costs and the growing number of uninsured. Care Access also accepts applications from individuals regardless of immigration status, as well as from dependents, students, and children from the age of one, as part of a family or alone. |
